Airtec Motorsport Stage 2 Intercooler upgrade for the Ford Focus ST225 Mk2 2.5 turbo, developed for sporty road use and track use. This intercooler is ideal for tuned vehicles with power outputs of up to approximately 350 hp.
The Stage 2 builds on the successful Stage 1 Generation 3 Intercooler and adds a specially developed air ram scoop. This air guide forces additional airflow through the intercooler core, further improving cooling performance and keeping charge temperatures even lower under heavy load.
To achieve maximum performance within the available space behind the bumper, the intercooler utilises a 60 mm high-flow core that is approximately twice as high as the original Intercooler and nearly 100 mm longer. This results in a massive increase in capacity and an impressive 127 per cent larger frontal area compared to the standard unit.
Combined with the smooth-flow cast end tanks and the integrated air ram scoop, this intercooler delivers significantly better airflow, lower Intake temperatures and more stable performance during prolonged loads.
The kit is a fully bolt-on fit, connects to the original boost hoses and comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware.
