Airtec Motorsport Stage 2 Intercooler upgrade for the Peugeot 208 GTi, designed to significantly improve cooling performance compared with the original Intercooler. This is particularly important for tuned 208 GTis, where higher turbo pressure leads to rising Intake temperatures and a loss of power.
To overcome the limitations of the OEM Intercooler within the available space behind the bumper, Airtec has opted for a high-flow twin-pass core design. This core is wider, taller and deeper than the standard unit, resulting in a substantial increase in frontal area and significantly greater capacity. This ensures optimal utilisation of the available airflow.
Despite its larger size, sufficient airflow is maintained towards the top of the radiator, which is essential for reliable operation in warmer climates. Combined with high-flow, one-piece moulded cast end tanks, the airflow is efficiently channelled and the overall cooling capacity is greatly increased.
the intercooler fits neatly behind the original bumper and requires no cutting or drilling. The installation is fully reversible and can be restored to stock without any problems. The complete set comes with Pro Hoses silicone connectors, all necessary mounting hardware and clear, illustrated fitting instructions.
