Airtec Motorsport Stage 3 Intercooler upgrade for the Peugeot 207 GTi 1.6 turbo, designed to significantly improve cooling performance compared with the original Intercooler. This is particularly important for tuned 207 GTis, where higher boost pressure causes Intake temperatures to rise sharply.
To overcome the limitations of the OEM Intercooler within the available space behind the bumper, this Stage 3 Intercooler utilises a high-flow twin-pass core design that is wider, taller and deeper than the standard unit. This results in a significant increase in frontal area and a substantial boost in capacity, ensuring optimal utilisation of the available airflow.
Despite its larger size, sufficient airflow is maintained towards the top of the radiator, which is essential for reliable operation in warmer climates. Combined with high-flow, one-piece moulded cast end tanks, the airflow is efficiently distributed and the overall cooling capacity is greatly increased.
the intercooler fits neatly behind the original bumper and requires no cutting or drilling. The fitment is fully reversible and can be easily restored to the original configuration. The complete set comes with Pro Hoses silicone hoses and pipework, all necessary fixing materials and clear fitting instructions.
