All the knowledge and experience gained from working with various engines from the sports car manufacturer Akrapovič has been channelled into this outstanding aftermarket exhaust system. Crafted from lightweight titanium, the system utilises complex components meticulously manufactured using the in-house titanium foundry to deliver perfect acoustics. From the moment the engine is started, there is an immediate sense of depth, and as the revs rise, so too does the sensory engagement. At low revs, the exhaust produces a deep, iconic flat-six rumble, moving through a powerful mid-range, which develops into a rich, powerful and high-frequency acoustic sensation at high revs, perfectly synchronised with upshifts, whilst offering an exhilarating, racing-inspired experience during downshifts. This sound signature is achieved through a precisely calculated H-link between the main pipes, welded exactly at a selected position. The system has been developed for use on closed-circuit race tracks, but there is no compromise on comfort as the system’s tuning eliminates any drone or unwanted flow noise.
