The original BorgWarner K04-064 turbo is a popular performance upgrade for VAG 2.0 TFSI EA113 engines. This turbo was fitted as standard on models such as the Golf 6 R, Scirocco R, Polo 6R WRC and Audi S3 8P.
Thanks to its increased airflow and higher efficiency, this turbo delivers significantly better performance than the standard turbo. When combined with the right upgrades and ECU software, power output of up to approximately 380PK can be achieved.
With a suitable conversion kit, this turbo can also be fitted to other 1.8 TFSI and 2.0 TFSI engines, such as the Golf 5 GTI, Seat Leon 1P and similar models.
