This complete set of billet aluminium adaptors from CTS is bolted onto the original valve cover of the 2.7T 30V engine, allowing you to use the longer ignition coils fitted to the VW and Audi 2.0T FSI and TSI models. This ignition coil adapter set is a direct fit for all 2.7T 30V engines and is used on models including the Audi S4 B5, Audi RS4 B5, Audi A6 C5 and the Audi A6 Allroad C5.
Upgrading the ignition coils allows you to drive with a greater spark plug gap whilst maintaining a powerful spark. Replacing the outdated ignition coils with the newer technology results, in practice, in greater reliability, smoother idling, more power under load and, in some cases, improved fuel economy.
