The CTS Downpipe has been developed for the Mini Cooper S fitted with the N14 and N18 engines. The Downpipe is constructed from mandrel-bent 2.5-inch seamless T304 stainless steel and features a CNC-machined turbine discharge flange. It fits the R55 Clubman, R56 Hatchback, R57 Convertible, R58 Coupé, R59 Roadster, R60 Countryman and R61 Paceman.
The original Downpipe severely restricts exhaust flow and therefore has a negative effect on power output, particularly when the car has been tuned. The CTS Downpipe allows the exhaust gases to flow smoothly. Its modular design makes fitting a catalytic converter simple and straightforward, whilst the smooth transitions ensure optimum flow of the exhaust gases.
To prevent the engine fault light from coming on, the correct tuning software must be used. The use of Stage 2 software is strongly recommended and is required to prevent the engine fault light from coming on.
