The CTS Downpipe with high-flow catalytic converter for the B46 engine is designed for the MINI Cooper S from 2015 onwards and the BMW X1 and X2, and reduces restriction in the exhaust system, thereby increasing power. This is a bolt-on solution from CTS Turbo.
The Downpipe is made from 100 per cent stainless steel, is fully TIG-welded and features a CNC-machined V-band flange and 4-inch mandrel-bent pipework, which allows for maximum flow to the original or an aftermarket catback system. A 200-cell catalytic converter has been fitted, along with a flexible stainless steel section, as per the factory specification, which allows for the correct movement and flexibility of the exhaust system.

No, this part does not fit JCW models due to a different exhaust connection. The specifications apply to the MINI Cooper S Hardtop F56 from 2014 to 2020 inclusive, the Cooper S 4-door Hardtop F55 from 2015 to 2020, the Cooper S Convertible F57 from 2016 to 2020, the Cooper S Clubman F54 from 2016 to 2020, the Cooper S Countryman F60 from 2017 to 2022, the BMW X1 F48 from 2016 to 2021, X2 F48 from 2018 to 2021 and BMW 228i F44 from 2019 to 2020, all fitted with the 2.0-litre engine.

Yes, the correct software is required to prevent the engine fault light from coming on.
Does this part fit a European car with an OPF?
The part fits, but is based on the US specification and does not have connections for the OPF temperature sensor and the OPF pressure sensor. European cars have had these sensors fitted as standard from 2019 onwards. If you wish to keep those sensors connected, this part is not the right choice.
