The CTS Intake Kit is a cold Air Intake system for the Mini Cooper S R55, R56, R57, R58 and R59. The kit has been specially designed for both Euro-spec and North American models and is fully compatible with the N16 and N18 engines.
The original air scoop works in conjunction with the CTS airbox to draw cold air into the system. The air then flows through the high-flow conical air filter, which, with its inverted conical design, allows for maximum airflow. The CNC mandrel-bent aluminium Intake pipe ensures a smooth supply of cold air to the engine, delivering a peak power gain of 9 to 15 hp. All components work together to deliver increased power and torque across the entire rev range, along with an aggressive, racing-inspired sound.
The original Intake is notorious for cracking or breaking completely due to the brittle plastic Intake pipe. This high-flow Intake replaces all original components, thereby delivering years of reliable performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bear in mind with an N18 engine?
On N18 engines, the PCV heater connections must be removed and resistors fitted into the factory wiring to prevent error code P053A. The resistors are included. For a neater plug-and-play solution, you can purchase the Neuspeed part NM.658800.
Does the kit fit every 2013+ Mini?
No. The kit does not fit certain 2013+ models with a moulded PCV hose connection on the original Intake. Please consult the fitting instructions before ordering.
