The 3-inch CTS Turbo-back exhaust with a high-flow catalytic converter is designed for the facelifted VW Golf 7.5 GTI from 2018 onwards. Every CTS Golf 7.5 GTI Downpipe is 100% TIG-welded, constructed from 3-inch T304 seamless stainless steel and comes with fitting hardware and stainless steel clamps. Inferior products are either not made from stainless steel or use welded stainless steel, which can crack and deteriorate over time. The Downpipe replaces the original Downpipe, improves turbo Spool-up and increases peak power. The larger 3-inch pipe diameter allows exhaust gases to flow out of the turbo and Wastegate with less turbulence, resulting in more power and torque across the entire rev range.
