CTS Turbo introduces its downpipes for the BMW S58 G80 M3 and M3 Competition, the G82 M4 and M4 Competition, and the G87 M2.
These stainless steel downpipes deliver faster Spool-up, improved transient boost response, higher boost pressure and a great-sounding exhaust note. The downpipes form the first section of CTS’s modular exhaust system and are compatible with the factory mid-pipes. When combined with the correct tuning software, you can expect significant torque gains. CTS used CAD simulation to optimise exhaust gas flow and ensure seamless integration with both the factory and CTS exhaust components. Many hours of R&D have been invested to achieve a perfect fit, smooth exhaust flow and an excellent sound.
The pipework is made from 304 food-grade stainless steel with a diameter of 3" or 76 mm. Bootmod3 software is compatible and is highly recommended. The engine fault light will come on if the correct tuning software is not used: Stage 2 software is required to prevent the engine fault light from coming on.

The part fits, but is based on the US specification and does not have connections for the OPF temperature sensor and the OPF pressure sensor. European cars have had these sensors fitted as standard from 2019 onwards. If you wish to keep those sensors connected, this part is not the right choice.
