CTS Turbo presents an Intake manifold for the Audi and Volkswagen 2.0T FSI EA113 and EA888 Gen 1 and 2 engines. The part is made from cast aluminium and can therefore withstand significantly higher boost pressure than the plastic factory version.
The design offers over 40% more volume and a balanced distribution of airflow. The manifold features integrated velocity stacks on each runner, 1/8" NPT ports for water/methanol injection with Aquamist 25 mm check-valved jets, and 1/4" NPT and 1/8" NPT vacuum and boost reference ports. The factory position of the throttle body and the factory mounting points are retained.
An aftermarket Catch Can system is required for use, as well as specific software tuning and a minor modification to the fuel line. The manifold is not suitable for B8.5 A4/A5 vehicles with the fifth factory injector, nor for Golf 6 Gen3 TSI engines from 2013.5 onwards, nor for the Audi TT 8J with a MAP sensor on the manifold.
