The CTS Transmission Mount Insert is a T6061 aluminium insert for the Audi A4, A5, A8, allroad, RS5, RS6, RS7, RSQ8, S4, S5, S8, SQ5, SQ7 and SQ8 models on the B9, B9.5, C8, D5, 4M and 4M.5 platforms. The part is milled in-house on a HAAS UMC750 5-axis CNC machine.
The insert fills a cavity in the original rubber mount, thereby limiting the movement of the gearbox. The result is more direct gear changes and a firmer ride, without any additional noise or harshness. Fitting takes 5 to 10 minutes: the factory bolts are tightened to 25 Nm using blue Loctite. Made in Canada.
