The CTS Turbo muffler Delete is a high-flow, cast aluminium turbo muffler Delete for Gen1 EA888 2.0 TSI engines fitted with the original turbo.
The turbo muffler Delete features a one-piece aluminium design and is CNC-machined for a perfect fit, without the need for an additional adaptor. The part replaces the restrictive, power-sapping original turbo silencer, which is designed to dampen the turbo’s harmonic noise. By removing this restriction, you gain 6–7 hp and improve throttle response.
The kit can be fitted in 30 minutes using hand tools, fits perfectly and looks great. The part fits the VW Golf 5 GTI, VW Golf 6 GTI, VW Jetta, VW EOS, VW Passat CC, VW New Beetle, VW Scirocco, Audi A3 and Audi TT with the Gen1 EA888 TSI engine. Please note: this part is only suitable for use with the original turbo on the Gen1 TSI and is not suitable for MQB vehicles.
