The CTS lowering springs have been developed for the Audi S3 8V and RS3 8V. All springs are made from high-quality SAE 9254 / DIN 54SiCr6 spring steel wire, ensuring that the springs are safe and strong and do not lose their tension over time.
The springs are designed for road use, with an emphasis on road holding, braking performance and direct response, without compromising ride comfort as is the case with other manufacturers. CTS developed the springs in-house and tested them thoroughly before they were released. These tests showed that long-term use causes no adverse effects or wear to the original shock absorber housing.
Lowering the car also gives it a more aggressive look, with a smaller wheel arch opening and a tighter stance, without compromising its suitability for everyday use. The springs are compatible with DCC and work well with the dynamic damper control system, maintaining handling characteristics across the different settings.
