This stainless steel decat Downpipe has been developed for VAG engines and is compatible with, amongst others, the Audi A3 (8P), the Audi TT (8J), the VW Golf V and VI (1K), the VW Scirocco III (13) and the VW Tiguan (5N) with 1.8 and 2.0 TFSI engines. The Downpipe has a diameter of 3 inches / 76 mm and is supplied as a 2-piece set with a connection to the standard turbocharger.
The Downpipe is fitted with lambda sensor connections and is secured using a V-clamp connection. The connection diameter on the standard part is 60 mm. This version does not include a catalytic converter. According to the manufacturer, this reduces exhaust back pressure and results in a power increase of approximately 10 per cent.
