This kit has been specially developed for vehicles with electric power steering and is not compatible with hydraulic power steering. With the IE 2.5L Power Kit, you’ll enjoy a significant increase in the rev limit, resulting in a more powerful driving experience right up to the red line. The kit is easy to install, so you can fit it yourself in your own garage or on your driveway. tuning is also straightforward; using IE’s DIY Flash Tool, you can quickly upload the new calibration via an OBD plug-in device, meaning you don’t need to rely on a professional tuner. The IE performance Intake manifold and Split Intake are designed with carefully tuned runner lengths and diameters, ensuring optimum airflow to the cylinders. This results in a more responsive engine and a broad power band without the need to add extra boost or engine components. With the Stage 2 software, the ECU parameters are optimised to take full advantage of the manifold’s unique flow characteristics, leading to an enhanced driving experience with improved throttle response and without the unwanted ‘rev hang’. The kit is designed to fit MK5 07K engines perfectly, without requiring any modifications to the engine bay or the vacuum system. The increased plenum volume ensures an even distribution of air to all 5 cylinders, which is essential for optimum performance.
