The TTE1000+ turbo upgrade for the Audi RS6 C6 5.0 TFSI V10 is the next step in the evolution beyond the well-known TTE850 and has been developed for extreme performance builds. Whilst the TTE850 already consistently delivered 900+ pk on 99 RON, the TTE1000+ goes well beyond that, with 1000+ pk proven.
For this upgrade, TTE uses lightweight, CNC-machined billet compressor wheels that are considerably larger than the OEM ones, yet still feature early flushing. The original compressor housings are CNC-machined to accommodate these impellers perfectly. In addition, the OEM turbo inlets are CNC-modified for maximum airflow.
A key difference from previous stages is the use of TTE’s proprietary 9-blade turbines. These are larger, lighter and offer freer flow than the OEM turbines, and can handle much higher exhaust volumes without excessive exhaust pressure. The narrow hub further increases flow and reduces weight.
The turbos are fitted with reinforced OE actuators with springs, equipped with TTE-reinforced clamps for reliable operation. tuning can be customised to the customer’s requirements.
Each turbo is multi-balanced to TTE standards, including high-speed VSR balancing up to 250,000 rpm. Each set is supplied with a numbered balance test report. Installation is OEM plug-and-play, but software recalibration is mandatory.
