The TTE440L is the latest hybrid turbo upgrade from TheTurboEngineers, developed for the third-generation Audi 2.0 TSI/TFSI engines (EA888.3). Suitable for models including the Audi A4 B8.5/B9, A5 B8.5/B9, A6, Q5 and Q7. This turbo delivers over 400 hp with impressive throttle response, rapid Spool-up and OEM-quality assembly.
The original IHI turbo forms the basis, but everything has been redesigned internally. The standard compressor has been replaced by a larger, CNC-machined 6+6 billet compressor wheel with extended tip technology for optimum airflow and efficiency. The compressor housing is precision-machined to ensure the perfect clearance between the wheel and the housing. On the exhaust side is a lightweight 9-blade TTE High-Flow turbine (53 mm) which lowers exhaust gas temperature and reduces back pressure, resulting in higher performance and improved durability.
The assembly is reinforced with an in-house developed 360° bearing system, specially designed for high boost pressure and long-term use. All components are individually balanced and dynamically tested up to 250,000 rpm, with each unit supplied with an official balance report.
