The TTE4XX is the latest hybrid turbo upgrade from TheTurboEngineers for the Alfa Romeo 4C fitted with the 1750 TBi engine. This turbo upgrade delivers over 350 hp, whilst retaining the legendary fast Spool-up and sharp throttle response for which the 4C is renowned. A true plug-and-play upgrade that adds modern turbo technology to the iconic Alfa DNA.
The original turbo forms the basis, but is completely re-engineered by TTE. The standard compressor wheel is replaced by a larger, billet-machined 6+6 compressor wheel with advanced geometry for improved airflow and efficiency. The compressor housing is CNC-machined to perfectly match the new profile, resulting in a wider and more powerful power band.
The turbine side has also been upgraded: a larger, lightweight 9-blade high-flow turbine replaces the standard version, resulting in lower exhaust gas temperatures, reduced back pressure and a smoother power delivery curve. TTE’s internal Motorsport bearing system ensures extremely durable operation at high turbo pressures, without any loss of responsiveness. Each turbo is individually balanced using TTE’s proprietary high-speed VSR technology and supplied with an official balance report.
