The TTE4XX is the latest hybrid turbo upgrade from TheTurboEngineers, developed for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1750 TBi. This upgrade offers a perfect combination of super-fast Spool-up, instant response and a substantial power output of over 350 pk, whilst retaining the original mounting for a true Plug & Play installation.
The TTE4XX starts as an original OEM turbo that is completely overhauled and optimised. The standard compressor is replaced by a larger, billet-machined 6+6-wheel unit, which, thanks to its modern geometry, delivers higher airflow and improved efficiency. The compressor housing is CNC-machined to fit the new compressor profile perfectly, further optimising airflow.
On the turbine side, TTE replaces the original turbine with a 9-blade high-flow turbine. This reduces exhaust gas temperatures and back pressure, resulting in higher power output and a smooth boost response. TTE’s internal Motorsport bearing system ensures long-term reliability and high stability, even at high turbo pressures. Each turbo is individually balanced using VSR technology up to 250,000 rpm and supplied with an official balance report.
