The TTE500+ upgrade turbo has been developed for the 2.5 TFSI engine and provides a complete Ultra Plug & Play performance solution for the Audi TTRS 8J, RS3 8P & 8V.1 and RS Q3. This upgrade is based on the original turbocharger but has been completely re-engineered to a higher specification with 500+ pk potential, without compromising on responsiveness or reliability.
At the heart of the TTE500+ is a much larger TTE billet compressor wheel with a 58 mm inlet, combined with a CNC-optimised compressor housing featuring precise tolerances for maximum efficiency. On the exhaust side, a TTE 9-blade high-flow, low-mass turbine is used, offering more peak power and a wider torque range than previous K24 configurations.
The exhaust manifold runners are CNC-matched and ported to optimise the transition from the cylinder head to the turbine. For durability under higher loads, a reinforced BorgWarner Motorsport bearing system is used, together with an upgraded OE actuator with spring pressure and TTE-reinforced clamps.
Unique to this kit is the CNC-optimised OEM Intake pipe, which is included and fitted with a TTE-designed Viton O-ring seal for a consistent and reliable seal. Each turbo is multi-balanced, including high-speed VSR balancing up to 250,000 rpm, and supplied with a numbered balance test report. Software recalibration is required.
