The TTE500 is the ultimate hybrid turbo upgrade from TheTurboEngineers for the Toyota Yaris GR with the G16E-GTS engine. Designed for those seeking maximum performance without compromising on reliability or ease of fitment. Delivering over 400 pk on 98 RON fuel, the TTE500 offers unprecedented power and responsiveness, and is fully Plug & Play.
The original IHI turbo is completely overhauled internally. The cast compressor wheel is replaced by a larger, high-efficiency billet 7+7 compressor wheel, CNC-machined for maximum airflow and pressure stability. On the exhaust side, a larger, 9-blade high-flow turbine is fitted — exclusively designed by TTE — which ensures higher gas flow, lower exhaust gas temperatures and reduced back pressure, resulting in a safer and more powerful turbo system.
In addition, the turbo is fitted with a reinforced 360° thrust bearing system for extra durability at higher boost pressures, and a CNC-machined billet inlet adapter that uses the original O-ring. Each TTE500 is individually balanced at high speed (VSR) and supplied with an official balance report bearing the serial number.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much power does the TTE500 deliver?
The TTE500 delivers 400+ pk on 98 RON fuel; even more is possible with an aftermarket ECU and E85.
Is the installation Plug & Play?
Yes, the TTE500 fits directly onto the original mounting points and works with the standard actuator and diverter valve.
Is tuning necessary?
Yes, modified ECU software is required. An aftermarket ECU is recommended for maximum performance.
What is the function of the 9-blade turbine?
The 9-blade turbine reduces back pressure and lowers the exhaust gas temperature, resulting in improved flow and increased power.
What does the optional Heat Shield insulation do?
The TTE Heat Shield reduces the temperature in the engine compartment and increases the durability of surrounding components.
