The TTE700 upgrade turbocharger for the Audi TTRS 8J and RS3 8P/8V has been developed by TheTurboEngineers to deliver ultimate performance of over 700 pk, without compromising on reliability. The turbo is completely rebuilt using an original BorgWarner housing, CNC-machined by TTE and fitted with a larger billet compressor wheel featuring extended tip technology for maximum airflow and rapid response.
The turbine wheel is replaced and fitted with the tried-and-tested TTE Clipping technique, whereby the blade tips are carefully rounded to improve airflow and reduce exhaust back pressure. The reinforced 360° Motorsport bearing assembly increases load capacity, whilst the Wastegate is fitted with a stronger spring that can be adjusted by the user via TTE clamps.
Each turbo is precisely balanced up to 250,000 rpm on a VSR machine and supplied with an individual balance test report. The TTE700 is not a plug-and-play solution – installation requires modifications and an original, functioning DAZA/DNWA turbo as a base.
