The TTE740 is a Stage 3 hybrid turbo upgrade from TheTurboEngineers, developed specifically for the Porsche 992 3.0 Twin turbo. This upgrade delivers a significant power gain whilst maintaining a quick response that is very close to OEM, making it ideal for high-performance road and track builds.
For the TTE740, the original compressor wheels are replaced with larger and more efficient TTE billet compressor wheels (7+7 blades). The compressor housings are CNC-machined to optimal tolerances to fit the new profile perfectly. On the exhaust side, larger 9-blade turbines are fitted, which increase airflow and reduce exhaust gas temperatures at higher boost pressures.
The whole assembly is combined with a TTE Motorsport upgrade bearing kit for durability under high loads. This configuration delivers 630+ pk on 98RON, without compromising on turbo response or drivability.
Balancing
To ensure maximum reliability and performance, all TTE740 turbochargers are first low-speed balanced up to 2,800 rpm across multiple planes. The complete CHRA is then high-speed VSR-balanced up to 250,000 rpm on TTE’s in-house VSR machine. Each turbo is supplied with a numbered balance test result certificate.
