The TTE800 is a high-performance turbo upgrade from TheTurboEngineers, developed for the Porsche 993 Bi-turbo. Based on the original BorgWarner K24 turbos, but completely re-engineered internally to deliver over 800 hp with a perfect balance between raw power, responsiveness and reliability.
At the heart of the TTE800 is a newly designed billet compressor wheel with a 54.5 mm inlet, chosen for its exceptional efficiency and high airflow. The compressor housing is CNC-machined and re-profiled to optimise airflow and minimise losses. On the exhaust side, a larger, lightweight 9-blade high-flow turbine is integrated, ensuring greater flow, lower exhaust gas temperatures and reduced back pressure.
For maximum reliability, the TTE800 is fitted with a reinforced 360° high-performance Motorsport bearing, designed for sustained operation at high boost pressures without any loss of response speed. The original BorgWarner spring-loaded actuator (standard 0.8 bar, optional 1.0 bar) is retained, ensuring the upgrade maintains its OEM fit and reliability. Each turbo is individually balanced at high speed up to 250,000 rpm and supplied with an official balance report.
