The TTE855 EVO is one of the best-performing hybrid turbochargers for the Audi 2.5 TFSI EVO engine and delivers a unique combination of lightning-fast response and extreme top-end performance. This upgrade is based on an original BorgWarner RS3/TTRS turbo and has been completely redeveloped by TheTurboEngineers into a hybrid capable of handling up to 900+ pk with the right hardware and fuel.
The TTE855 EVO is the direct evolution of the legendary TTE777 and utilises a much larger TTE billet compressor (7+7 blades) and a low-mass 9-blade turbine, resulting in lower exhaust gas pressure, faster Spool-up and a very wide torque band. Measurements show 500 Nm as early as 2,620 rpm and up to 900 Nm at 3,500 rpm, making this turbo exceptional for both road and track use.
The exhaust manifold is CNC-machined to fit perfectly against the cylinder head, maximising the gas flow rate towards the turbine. Combined with the TTE Motorsport bearing kit, reliability is maintained at high boost pressures.
New orders utilise the latest generation of BorgWarner turbos, including OEM Audi thermal insulation on the manifold and turbine housing for lower engine bay temperatures and maximum durability.
