The TurboSystems hybrid turbo is a bolt-on upgrade turbo for the BMW N47D20 engine from 2010 onwards, including the 120d F20 / F21, 320d F30 / F31, 520d F10 / F11, X1 E84 and X3 F25. The turbo is designed to work in conjunction with the standard exhaust manifold and the other engine components.
The turbo features a reinforced, enlarged 6+6 compressor wheel, machined from solid material, and an enlarged 9-blade turbine wheel. The power output ranges up to 280+ hp.
