The TurboSystems hybrid turbo is a bolt-on upgrade turbo for BMW models fitted with the M57N2 3.0-litre diesel engine: the 325d and 330d (E9x), the 525d, 530d and 730d (E6x), and the X5 3.0d and X6 30d (E7x). The turbo works in conjunction with the original exhaust manifold and the other engine components.
Five versions are available, from Stage 2 to Stage 5, with a power output ranging from 400 hp to 500+ hp. Although the models listed share the same engine, the turbo’s construction differs per model. You should therefore always order the turbo based on the correct vehicle.
Please note: engine tuning is required following the fitting of this upgrade turbo. The Stage 3 to Stage 5 versions are intended for professional use only. For the best results, an upgraded Intake system, a performance Downpipe and bespoke software are also required.
