The TurboSystems hybrid turbo is a bolt-on upgrade turbo for BMW models fitted with the B47D20 engine from 2014 onwards, including the 120d, 220d, 320d, 420d, 518d, 520d, X3 20d and X4 2.0d. The turbo is designed to work in conjunction with the original exhaust manifold and the other engine components.
This HTD2263BB version features dual ceramic ball bearings, custom variable geometry and a reinforced, enlarged compressor wheel milled from solid material. The power output ranges from 280 to 300+ hp. The standard fuel system can handle up to 280 hp; for higher power output, upgrades to the fuel system are required.
