The Wagner Competition EVO3 Intercooler kit has been specially designed for the BMW M135i, M235i and M2 with the N55 engine, taking cooling performance and power to a revolutionary level, particularly for high-performance tuning set-ups. The kit is completely ready to fit and comes with a modified cross-member.
The core measures 510 mm x 345 mm x 180 mm (stepped) with a total volume of 23.56 litres, resulting in a 165% larger inlet surface area (1759.5 cm² vs. OEM 663 cm²) and 223% more charge air volume than the standard radiator. The Competition high-performance core (Tube Fin) ensures excellent cooling with minimal back pressure; the cast aluminium end caps, optimised using CAD with CFD flow analyses, maximise internal airflow. The original snap-fit connections have been replaced and the ports enlarged to Ø65 mm at the inlet and Ø76 mm at the outlet; the kit also includes an aluminium Charge Pipe with a diameter of Ø76 mm. the intercooler has been tested up to 6 bar and is fully pressure-stable, weighing just 13.8 kg. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties guarantees long-lasting cooling performance. The kit fits the F20/F21 M135i (235–240 kW, 2011–2016), the F22 M235i (240 kW, 2014–2016) and the F87 M2 (272 kW, 2015–2018), but not on xDrive models. Fitting is straightforward, but due to the dimensions, minor modifications to the radiator bracket are required.
