The Wagner Competition Intercooler kit has been developed for the Mini Cooper S (R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, R61) and ensures optimum airflow and cooling, resulting in a significant increase in performance. Fitting is a simple plug-and-play replacement of the factory Intercooler, requiring no major modifications.
With mesh dimensions of 550 mm x 210 mm x 110 mm (stepped, 12.70 litres), this intercooler offers a 230 per cent larger inlet surface area and 190 per cent more charge air volume than the standard cooler. The Competition high-performance mesh ensures sufficient airflow to adjacent components such as the water cooler. The CAD-designed, free-form cast aluminium end caps optimise internal airflow and minimise back pressure. Weighing just 5.6 kg, the intercooler is lightweight and easy to fit, whilst the high-quality anti-corrosion coating with heat-conductive properties guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling. The kit fits as a plug-and-play solution on the Mini Cooper S Clubman R55/R56 facelift (2009–2014, incl. JCW), Cabrio R57 facelift (2009–2015, incl. JCW), Coupé R58 (2010–2015, including JCW), Roadster R59 (2011–2015), Countryman R60 (2010–2016) and Paceman R61 (2012–2016). With minor modifications to the bumper, it is also suitable for the pre-facelift R55–R57 models (2006–2010).
