The Wagner Competition Intercooler kit has been developed for the Mini Cooper S, D and SD (F54, F55, F56, F60) and enhances the engine’s performance and efficiency. The kit is completely ready to fit and can be easily swapped for the factory Intercooler on a plug-and-play basis, without the need for extensive modifications.
With stepped mesh dimensions of 580 mm x 231 mm x 110 mm, this intercooler offers a 53% larger inlet surface area (1,340 cm² vs. OEM 877.5 cm²) and 52% more charge air volume (12.6 litres vs. OEM 8.3 litres). The Competition high-performance mesh keeps the engine at the optimum operating temperature, even on the track. The CAD-designed, free-form cast aluminium end caps are aerodynamically optimised and significantly reduce back pressure. Weighing just 9.2 kg, the intercooler is lightweight yet extremely robust, having been tested for pressure resistance up to 6 bar. The anti-corrosion coating ensures a long service life and excellent thermal conductivity. The kit fits the Mini Cooper S F54/F55/F56/F60 (B46 & B48, 141 kW/192 PS, 2014+), Mini One D (B37, 70 kW, 2014), the Cooper D (B37, 85 kW, 2014+), the Cooper SD (B47, 125 kW, 2014+) and the JCW F57 (B48B20, 170 kW, 2016+). Not suitable for JCW models from the F54/55/56/60 series and LCI models with the engine codes B48.C/B48.A/B38.C/B48.D/B38.M/B38.B.
