The Wagner Competition Intercooler kit has been developed for VAG 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 engines (such as the VW Golf 8 GTI) and improves cooling performance, resulting in a noticeable boost in performance. With mesh dimensions of 620 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm and a volume of 17.7 litres, this intercooler offers 97% more volume compared to the standard Intercooler (9 litres), and now comes with a parts certificate.
The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fin) ensures excellent cooling performance and sufficient airflow to adjacent components. The cast aluminium end caps have been optimised using CAD technology and CFD simulations, resulting in a 57% reduction in back pressure, which reduces the mechanical load on the turbo. the intercooler features a high-quality anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity, weighs just 9.2 kg and has a 70 mm inlet and outlet. Installation is plug-and-play. The kit fits the Audi S3 8Y, Audi TT 8S 45 TSI, Audi TTS 8S, VW Golf VIII GTI / GTI Clubsport / R, VW Passat B8, VW Arteon, VW T-Roc R, Seat Leon IV Cupra, Cupra Formentor VZ, Škoda Octavia RS and Škoda Superb fitted with the EA888 Gen.4 engine.
