The Wagner Competition EVO 2 Intercooler kit has been developed for the VW Transporter T5 and T6 with 2.0 TSI and TDI engines and replaces the OEM Intercooler to improve cooling and combustion efficiency. The Intercooler has a core measuring 670 mm x 302 mm x 75 mm and offers a 26% larger airflow area and no less than 90% more charge volume than the standard Intercooler.
The cast aluminium end caps have been optimised using CAD design to ensure ideal internal airflow, which minimises back pressure and maximises cooling. The Competition mesh has been developed to deliver excellent cooling performance and reduces the thermal load on the engine. Despite its dimensions, the intercooler weighs just 8.9 kg. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties ensures long-lasting and optimal cooling. Installation is plug-and-play, simply by replacing the OEM Intercooler, without the need for major modifications. The kit fits the T5 2.0 TSI (CJKB, 2012–2016), T5 2.0 TSI (CJKA, 2011–2016), T5 2.0 TDI (CFCA, 2009–2016), T6 2.0 TSI (CJKA, 2015+), T6 2.0 TSI (CJKB, 2015+) and T6 2.0 BiTDI (CFCA, 2015+).
