The Wagner Competition package for the Audi TTRS 8J and TTRS plus 8J with 2.5 TFSI comprises the EVO 3 Intercooler upgrade kit (200001056.X) and the Downpipe kit with catalytic converter (500001003). This Audi TTRS 8J Intercooler and EVO 3.X Downpipe combination is designed for upgrades from 600 hp.
The EVO 3 Intercooler kit is a further development of the previously available EVO 2 Intercooler kit. The high-performance Intercooler has mesh dimensions of 515 mm x 367[274] mm x 95 mm, offering a 120 per cent larger inflow surface area and 142 per cent more charge air volume than the original Intercooler. The newly developed high-efficiency Competition mesh allows sufficient airflow to adjacent components such as the radiator and is also very lightweight. The end caps are made of cast aluminium and have been optimised using CAD flow analysis; built-in air guide plates in the inlet ensure even filling of the intercooler. The result is excellent cooling with minimal back pressure, making this kit ideally suited for Motorsport. Together with the original cross-member, the intercooler forms a stable unit and, thanks to the Competition mesh, weighs just 11.2 kg. Fitting is carried out using the original mounting points and is straightforward (1:1 replacement).
The Downpipe is made entirely from high-grade 1.4301 (SS304) stainless steel, tapers from 90 mm to 2 x 70 mm, has no front catalytic converter and is fitted with two racing main catalytic converters. Please note: according to the supplier, the intercooler kit is intended for racing use only.
