The Wagner Competition EVO 2 Intercooler kit is an upgrade for the BMW 1 Series (F20/F21), 2 Series (F22/F87), 3 Series (F30/F31/F34) and 4 Series (F32/F36), offering a significant improvement in cooling and airflow compared to the original Intercooler. With a 68% larger inlet surface area and 90% more charge air volume, this intercooler ensures lower Intake air temperatures and reduced pressure drop.
The stepped core measures 520 mm x 215 mm x 145 mm with a charge air volume of 13,840 cm³ (compared to 7,293 cm³ OEM). The cast aluminium end caps have been optimised using CFD flow analysis and internal turbulators to ensure the best possible internal airflow. The high-quality Competition tube-fin array provides excellent cooling and reduces the thermal load on the engine. Installation is plug-and-play: the OEM Intercooler is replaced without any modifications and the original charge air hoses can be reused. A heat-conductive anti-corrosion coating ensures long-lasting cooling. Suitable for a wide range of petrol and diesel variants within this F-series range, including the M2 F87, M135i and M235i.
