The Airtec Motorsport Intercooler for the Ford Focus Mk4 ST is a front-mount Intercooler upgrade for modified vehicles, designed for track use and sporty road driving. the intercooler is developed and manufactured at Airtec’s headquarters in the United Kingdom.
Space behind the front bumper of the Focus Mk4 is limited. Airtec makes full use of this space with a stepped-core design that tapers from 85 mm to 35 mm. This significantly increases the total volume compared to the original Intercooler and also substantially increases the frontal area, ensuring optimal utilisation of the available airflow.
The core is combined with high-flow, one-piece cast end tanks and an internal air guide that directs the airflow correctly and efficiently through the core. The result is significantly higher efficiency and a greater volume than the original unit.
the intercooler connects to the original boost pipes and is easily secured in place using billet mounting brackets of our own design. The comprehensive fitting kit contains all the necessary fixing materials and a step-by-step installation guide. The whole unit can be easily reverted to standard specification. The finish is Pro-Series Black, with an Airtec logo applied free of charge on request.
Please note: the intercooler fits neatly behind the original bumper, but some minor cutting is required for installation.
