The Wagner performance Intercooler kit has been developed for the BMW 116d and other models in the 1 Series, 3 Series and X1 ranges fitted with the N47D20 (TÜ2) and M47 engines, and offers maximum cooling with optimum performance.
The core measures 520 mm x 200 mm x 120 mm and features a stepped design with a total volume of 10.4 litres, delivering a 104% larger flow area and 140% more charge air volume compared to the standard Intercooler. The free-form cast aluminium end caps have been designed using CAD software to deliver higher cooling capacity with lower back pressure. Weighing just 7.6 kg, the intercooler remains lightweight. An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity ensures durable and consistent cooling. Installation is plug-and-play as a 1:1 replacement using the original mounting points.
